Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Booking & Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit (typically 30% of the total cost). Full payment is due 30 days before departure.

We accept Bank Transfers, Online Payment and Mobile Money. Clients are responsible to cover any and all additional bank related fees.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refund policy:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee (except for Gorilla and Chimps Permits that are not refundable).
  • 15–30 days before departure: 30% refund
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations with your airlines.

Changes to Itinerary

Afritrek Safaris reserves the right to make reasonable changes to itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. We will notify you of significant changes as early as possible and provide suitable alternatives.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, entry visas, and any required travel documents. You must disclose any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking. Afritrek Safaris is not liable for any loss arising from failure to comply with these requirements.

Limitation of Liability

Afritrek Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, local airlines, parks). While we take every care to provide quality services, we are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or additional expenses caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, or acts of third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Uganda.
