Embark on an unforgettable 3-day Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Safari and experience Uganda’s incredible mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This adventure takes you into the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

The highlight of the safari is the Gorilla Habituation Experience, which allows you to spend several hours with a gorilla family that is being gradually accustomed to human presence. Compared to standard gorilla trekking, habituation offers a longer and more immersive encounter, giving you more time to observe their behaviour, take photographs, and learn from experienced trackers and researchers.

Your journey can also include scenic drives through southwestern Uganda, comfortable accommodation, meals, and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and local communities surrounding Bwindi.

Day 01 :

Drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Get up early in the morning at your respective hotel in Kampala and have an enjoyable breakfast.
After, pick up by one of our experienced and well-trained driver-guides ready to embark on a 9
10 hours drive from Kampala to Bwindi.
En route, you will make a stopover at the Equator for a memorable photoshot and at Igongo
Cultural center you will have lunch before proceeding to the southwestern part of this magical
country where these magnificent creatures thrive. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 02 :

Gorilla habituation experience Safari in Bwindi

After an early breakfast and your packed lunch ready, you will walk slowly to the park
headquarters for briefing by the park rangers after which we will head out to track the mystical
creatures. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested
landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to
tourists.
The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you
locate a gorilla trekking tour group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. Enjoy your
packed lunch with these mystical creatures. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle
and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long-savored. Return to your
lodge. Have dinner and an Overnight.

Day 03 :

Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe

Get up early in the morning and have breakfast. After, checking out from your respective lodge
ready to make a return journey to Kampala. You will make a stopover at Mbarara for lunch and
photo taking at the Equator then you proceed to Kampala/Entebbe and this marks the end of your
3 days gorilla habituation safari experience in Uganda.
